Battlefield Design Public Consultation – goes live 18 March

What we’ve done so far

Over the last 5 months we’ve been engaging with the public through events, attending meetings and collecting comments through our project website. In total we have led 13 activities, with over 700 attendees through street workshops, stalls, design sessions, walking audits and also engagement with young people at Shawlands Academy and Battlefield Primary school and Langside College. Meetings have also been held with local people, business owners and representative groups alongside detailed survey and analysis work.

Upcoming Event – Public Consultation

Now we come to the next step of the project, the Design stage. On the 19th March we will be presenting the first stage concept designs created from the engagement so far for the public to provide feedback and shape the proposals. The consultation period will be open until the 12th April where you will be able to comment on the designs online or by visiting Langside Library or Langside Church to fill in a feedback form.

The designs will be online from the 18th March which will be accessed through this website and on the 19th March there is a drop-in session at Langside Library to see the designs in full and to ask any questions.
