Battlefield: Creating a Place for People Launch: Tuesday 4th September

Thank you to everyone who came along to the launch of the community-led street design project: Battlefield: Creating a Place for People on Tuesday 4th September .

It was a busy day with over 200 people passing by our stall and talking to our Street Design team about their thoughts on the area.

Later on we held an evening event at Langside Library in which 207 people attended. Here was the opportunity to read more about Sustran’s work, meet the project team and share your views and feelings on the area by writing on maps and leaving comments. If you didn’t get a chance to read our display boards you can read them here – link to display board

We are continuing to collect your feedback on the area so if you haven’t already please leave a comment by 30th September on our online platform, Commonplace . Your comments will help shape the discussions and design ideas for our next event.

Upcoming events:

Our next event will be a practical model kit design workshop in November where you will have the opportunity to redesign the area by using props and miniature models. Everyone is welcome to attend, more details will be put on this blog.

In the meantime watch this space for more local events in your area including led bike rides, local walks, film screenings and more.

Please keep checking this site for details of upcoming events or contact emily.gait@sustrans.org.uk for more information.
