Event Reminder: Battlefield Street Design Showcase: Tuesday 23rd July

We'd like to remind you of the final event for the Battlefield Street Design project taking place next Tuesday 23rd July. This event is part of the final step of the concept design stage where we'll be showcasing the progress we've got to so far including the community feedback and the concept design which we will shortly be handing over to Glasgow City Council to develop further. Please find further details below:

Design Showcase: Tuesday 23 July 2019

On Tuesday 23 July, at Langside Parish Church, the public are invited to have the opportunity to:

Drop-in anytime between 4pm and 7pm to view the updated concept design for the following areas; , Battlefield Rest junction, Battlefield Road, Grange Road and Langside Road.

Find out about activities in the area from Battlefield Community Project, Langside Heritage Group, Urban Croft South Seeds, Health Walks and many more;

Come and say hello to us outside Coffeescene between 3pm and 6pm where we’ll have a summary of the designs and some Sustrans freebies to give away!

Refreshments will be available throughout and all are welcome.The updated concept design will also be available from the 23 July through the project website: https://battlefieldproposals.commonplace.is/

Online Survey

To evaluate the impact of the project, we would like to hear the views from all of those involved. From the 23rd July we would like to invite you to complete a short online survey about the project and the engagement process. This will be added on this blog and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

As a thank you for completing the survey, you will have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a £50 Sainsbury’s shopping voucher. Watch this space for further details!
