Next steps for Battlefield Street Design

What we've been up to

In March we came out to the public with first draft designs for Battlefield Rest, Battlefield Road, the junction at Queens Drive, the Monument and Mount Florida Corner. We are now using your feedback to further develop these designs into a concept design which will be showcased to the community and other stakeholders in the summer of 2019 before being developed into detailed designs for delivery by Glasgow City Council.

Comments are closed for these designs but you can still view the designs and comments made by clicking here - link to designs .

Leave your feedback from 4th June 2019

We are now looking to get your feedback on first draft designs for Grange Road, Langside Road and Queen's Drive. The proposals incorporate cycle segregation and look at improving pavement widths, bus stop locations and simplifying junctions.

Overall the design proposals are based on 5 objectives which have been shaped by your feedback over the recent months. These objectives are:

Improving the Public Realm

Making it feel safer

Prioritising People over Vehicles

Reduce Traffic Speed and Volume

Improve Connectivity

You can read more detail about these objectives on our About Page .

These designs for Grange Road, Langside Road and Queen's Drive will be online and open for your comments from the 4th to the 14th June by visiting this page: https://battlefieldproposals.commonplace.is/overview
