The Heatmap is now closed for comments – What’s next?

Thank you to those who have made a comment on the Battlefield Street Design Project page. This is vital in helping us understand the area from a local perspective.

Since our launch event last month we’ve been gathering your comments and feedback and started pulling the information together in time for our next event.

What did the community say?

Have a look at what the community of Battlefield shared by clicking here . We had a total of 1,201 visitors to the website and 223 written comments on the area along with 162 map comments collected from the launch event (photo above).

If you didn’t have a chance to add your feedback don’t worry, there are plenty of opportunities to be involved in as we will be running a series of engagement activities throughout the project. Subscribe to our news post by clicking the button on the top right to receive all the updates.

Save the date – Thursday 15 November

Our next public event will be our Design Session on Thursday 15 November held at Langside Parish Church . This event will hold a series of interactive workshops to explore the comments you have already made to help develop and discuss designs for the area using a 3D model kit and visualisations. We’ll also have other activities and a space for general discussions about the project. More details to follow, save the date for now!

We’d like to hear from you

If you live in the area or are in a community group and would like to be involved in the project please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Emily to find out more, emily.gait@sustrans.org.uk .
